About Helena Rossi
Helena joined the FC Azerbaijan workshop in October 2017. She grew up around the car industry in Modena before moving to Bristol 11 years ago. Her job is simple but difficult: she finds the parts that most people think don't exist anymore. She spends her mornings on the phone with a network of 83 specialist suppliers across Italy, Germany, and Japan. If a part isn't sitting on a shelf in a warehouse, she tracks down the original factory blueprints to see if we can have it remade to the exact original spec.
She currently manages an inventory of 1,427 individual line items at our Bristol facility. This includes everything from 1980s fuel injection components to period-correct interior trim for 90s supercars. In the last 12 months, she successfully sourced 47 rare engine components that saved projects from being stalled. She doesn't believe in using 'close enough' alternatives. Every bolt and gasket must match the workshop-grade standards set by the original manufacturers decades ago.
Helena handles all the customs and import paperwork for our global parts network. This is a big part of the job since the 2021 trade changes. She recently managed a shipment of 12 original gearbox casings from a defunct supplier in Northern Italy, ensuring they arrived at our workshop in 6 business days. She keeps a physical library of 14-page parts manuals for every car we service, making sure the workshop team has the right data before they even turn a wrench.
Last year, Helena helped a client save £4,300 on a full engine rebuild by locating a forgotten stock of original pistons in a warehouse near Tokyo. It took 19 days of negotiation and 4 video calls to verify the serial numbers, but that is the level of detail she brings to FC Azerbaijan. She is honest about timelines and will tell you upfront if a part is going to take 4 weeks to arrive from overseas. We don't make guesses here; we provide firm dates based on real logistics.
Her focus is on making sure these legends are built to last. By using only verified, period-correct components, she ensures the cars maintain their value and performance. Helena is often in the warehouse by 8:15 AM to check incoming deliveries against the original technical drawings. By the way, if you are looking for a specific trim piece for a 1992 build, she is the one who will tell you the exact production month it was changed on the factory line.
